Who We Are

IsthuliNP is a 100% black owned company that has been oprational since 2015 but was formally established in March 2022 by founder Dennis Zulu, who has been working closely with clinicians, providing renal care services. Dennis discovered early in his career, while managing a renal clinic, that there is a major lack of specialized care in peritoneal dialysis, particularly in communities with a higher propensity to contract lifestyle diseases. Dennis became interested in peritoneal dialysis, a prospect which presented him with the opportunity to assist clients such as professional and mid-career students, to name a few. In response to the stark realities of a collapsing public health systems and exorbitant private medical costs, IsthuliNP was stablished to offer comprehensive renal services that are accessible, good quality, and affordable.

Renal failure can disrupt how people show up in the world. The intimate labour involved in administering renal care must be done in a way that accommodates the life responsibilities of clients so that they can do life and let us do renal care. We believe this orientation to our service helps restore people’s confidence and preserve their self-image.
